We’re thrilled to announce the introduction of new Wolfetone butyrate (CAB) M69 replica humbucker mounting rings. Original, vintage M69 mounting rings will set you back several thousand dollars.
These rings are made using the same Cellulose Acetate Butyrate(CAB) material as they were in the 1950’s. With excruciating attention to detail, every attempt was made to capture details missing on most replicas, from the funnelled, chewed up leg, fading “M” and correct mold marks. Softer than ABS plastic, these rings will conform to the arched top of your guitar.
These rings are colored a lighter “bone” cream than our standard cream humbucker bobbins, to match our new CAB vintage style “Dimarzio approved ceam color” humbucker bobbins.
